Day 1 Arusha / Ngorongoro.
Our driver will pick you from Arusha City in the Afternoon and drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area which is approximately two hundred kilometers from Arusha. On arrival, check in at your reserved lodge or camp.
Dinner and overnight: At the reserved lodge or camp in Ngorongoro.
Day 2 Ngorongoro / Tarangire
On this day, you will descend 2000 feet – six hundred meters to the floor of the crater for a half a day crater tour. The crater is the largest unbroken caldera in the World. The crater is surrounded by very steep walls rising 610 m from the crater floor, ties natural amphitheatre measures about 19 km across in diameter and has an area of 260 sq km.
There is nothing to compare with the crater, it’s amazing, one of the 8th wonders of the world.
Once at the floor of the crater you will proceed and explore. The crater is home to abundant wildlife such as zebra, buffalo, elephant, wildebeest, gazelle, rhino, velvet monkeys among other wild animals. Predators to be spotted include hyenas and black manned lion which can be observed at close quarters in their natural habitats.
Drive back to your lodge or camp for lunch. In the afternoon drive to Tarangire National Park.
Dinner and overnight: At the reserved lodge or camp.
Day 3: Game drive at Tarangire National Park – Depart for Arusha
On this day, enjoy a morning game drive at Tarangire National Park. The park is approximately 2600 sq kms in size and it’s the 6th largest park in the country. The parks unrivalled landscape of open plains, dotted with thousands of baobabs offers an amazing experience to the visitor.
Tarangire National park is known for its very big herds of Elephant and buffalo, one of the Africa’s gems. Other animals to be spotted include zebra, wildebeests, Maasai giraffe, fringe-eared Oryx, lion, cheetah, leopard among other wild animals.
Lunch is served at your reserved lodge or camp. In the mid afternoon, drive back to Arusha.
